Dundee Hills AVA
Wine Notes
The 2011 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir is a stunning expression of a late-ripening, cool vintage in the Dundee Hills. A blend of fruit from Thistle Vineyard and our estate Rambouillet Vineyard, this wine showcases the unique characteristics of both sites.
The nose opens with vibrant notes of raspberry syrup, followed by dried cherry and a touch of cumin and coriander spice. On the palate, a burst of juiciness reminiscent of fresh guava adds vibrancy, while round tannins provide a structured foundation. Flavors of Italian plums, well-loved leather, and a hint of black pepper carry through to a delightfully long finish, leaving a lasting impression.
